Taking Steps For Better Heart Health
Dedicated to fighting heart disease and stroke, the American Heart Association has worked to build longer, healthier lives for 100 years. Recently, 15 Magnaplate employees participated in the Tarrant County Heart Walk — one of the American Heart Association’s many events for promoting heart health awareness and raising research funds.
As part of the event, our team raised $2,500 to help the association improve the lives of those with heart disease and stroke — which are the number one and five leading causes of death in the U.S., respectively. The heat of the day didn’t stop the event from being a success; despite the temperature being in the 90s, our team joined 4,500 other attendees — which is twice as many participants as last year.
We’re looking forward to taking many more steps — both literally and figuratively — toward a healthier future!
