General Magnaplate Corporation has a career opportunity for an outside technical salesperson in our Northwest territory. The territory consists of Northern California, Nevada, Oregon, and Washington. The ideal candidate will be located within the territory. There is no relocation package offered for this position. A training program of 3-4 weeks in both Texas and New Jersey is required.
The candidate we are seeking should have a minimum of 5 years direct outside sales experience or technical service relating to account management, goal setting/achievement, reporting and "closing" skills. Knowledge of corrosion control and the benefits of coatings as they relate to the aerospace, food, packaging and medical diagnostic equipment industries are a plus. A self starter who has some mechanical aptitude and outstanding work ethics, combined with dynamic interpersonal skills are definite "musts". A Bachelor degree or equivalent is preferred. The position provides a comprehensive formal training program and base salary including a bonus program.
